Economics
South Korea posted 3.4% annual growth while Mexico expanded 3.0%.
Eurozone gross domestic product grew between 0.8% and 1.1% quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter of 2026, a slowdown compared with earlier expectations. South Korea recorded annual growth of 3.0% to 3.4% for the same period, while Mexico posted a year-on-year increase of 2.5% to 3.0%. Canada's August month-on-month growth was flat, at 0.0% to 0.1%, highlighting divergent performance across the regions.
The Eurozone figure was released on Friday 30 October and fell within the 0.8%-1.1% range, lower than the alternative bands of 1.2%-1.5% and 1.6%-1.9% that had been considered. The modest expansion suggests a deceleration in the bloc's economic momentum.
