Anthropic led AI benchmarks across agents, Code and Overall model
Google topped the Style-Control model ranking and OpenAI was Second in Code and Agent labs.
Anthropic secured the top position in the AI Agent benchmark as of the end of October 2026. The company also led the LiveBench Overall model ranking and the Code Arena WebDev model competition. Google claimed the #1 spot in the Style-Control model ranking and produced the leading text Arena Math model, while OpenAI placed Second in the AI Agent Lab and Xiaomi was identified as the leading Chinese AI firm.
In the Code Arena WebDev arena, Anthropic's model outperformed OpenAI, Moonshot and other contenders. OpenAI earned the Second-best Lab position in that same competition. The AI Agent Lab rankings listed OpenAI as the runner-up behind Anthropic, with Google taking Third place. Anthropic achieved the Second-best Overall AI Lab rating, while Google held the top Style-Control AI Lab spot and Anthropic was Second there.
The Text Arena Math challenge ranked Google's model first. These outcomes align with Anthropic's broader leadership across Agent and Code benchmarks.
Xiaomi emerged as the top Chinese AI company, ahead of Alibaba, Moonshot and Z.ai. The October results show Anthropic and Google alternating first-place positions across different task sets. OpenAI consistently appeared in Second-place slots in both Code and Agent evaluations.
